Where to Dine In London 2016

I love to dine out which is a little more of a rarity for me now but when I do it has to be worth it! Here I’ve put together a little list of great places to eat in London that I really enjoy going to & hope that you’ll enjoy them as much as I do!

Dim T – London Bridge

If you read my blog regularly you’ll know that Eastern Asian cuisine is my favourite of them all. Dim T is the perfect place to go if you’re looking for a delicious, not too pricey asian experience! There are two floors, we love dining on the first floor as opposed to the ground as they have floor to ceiling windows and the view is amazing, at night the view is even better with the lit up city & its makes for a really romantic atmosphere. I’d recommend the firecracker dish on their menu and definitely some dim sum which they specialise in!

Five guys – Central or the O2

Ahhh *drool* Now I really didn’t want to include any chain restaurants in this post but I just couldn’t help myself!! Five guys is a classic American diner type burger bar. I’m pretty sure most people have heard of it by now especially since opening a branch in the 02! This place is so great, they don’t create just any burgers, their burgers are phenomenal! (Like genuinely mouth watering-ly good!) Not only is it quick, it delivers!!!! Your taste buds will be dancing & your stomach will grow into a food baby but it’ll all be worth it! Then there are the chips/fries whatever you like to call them… which you get an abundance of. Its a pretty cool place to dine! I wouldn’t say its a very romantic place though so maybe don’t take any first dates here!

Miso – Bromley

This is one of my fave lunching places!! Again its all eastern asian but everything on the menu is full of flavour and amazing!! (I haven’t tried everything on the menu but I have most things, so I’ll say ‘everything’ because I’m pretty confident you can’t go wrong!) We always go to the Bromley branch (We have been to others but they haven’t quite lived up to the same standards). I’d recommend the deep fried prawns & chicken gyoza on the starter menu for sure!! If you look at the dim sum menu go for the wontons and the spring rolls and for the mains there are so many good ones I’d be here all day recommending them haha!!

Rox Burger – Lewisham

Now this is an odd one, its in a place you wouldn’t expect it to be and it seems pretty out of place once you know its there!! They do amazing burgers and various other little side dishes like this chorizo hot plate which is just incred!! This place is super small so there really isn’t much room which is the only downside but the staff are lovely and they take care of you, you’ll defo be stuffed when you leave! Oh and don’t forget to try the homemade lemonade whilst you’re there!

Drunken monkey – Shoreditch

This place doesn’t look all that from the outside or even on entry but the food & cocktails they produce are spot on!!! Again its Eastern asian, so they do dim sum, noodles and duck (the portions of noodles are massive!!) Not only does it taste great but the food arrives to your table so quick. I’d happily sit there drinking cocktail to cocktail all night (that could be dangerous, they are quite strong!) This place isn’t so romantic but its got a real great buzz inside so I’d recommend going in a group for a really relaxed but fun night!

YAS FIVE GUYS! Deeply ashamed that is the only one we’ve been to on your list, what kind of foodies are we pls!? In our defence they are out of our recalling areas apart from Shoreditch haha

But yay to new places and we’ll definitely be going through your recommendations!
