You all know how crazy I am about a good highlight. I recently reviewed the Anastasia Beverly Hills Gleam Glow Kit which you can catch up on here. I’m a firm believer that a girl can never have too much glow, so I purchased one of Gerard Cosmetics Star Powder Highlights after adoring them from afar for too long. The star powers were first introduced to me through the wonderful world of Instagram, where I’m sure you know I spend a good amount of my time! This was a purchase I snapped up on good old beauty bay at £19.50 a pop with speedy delivery as always!
This is the first time I’ve used Gerard Cosmetics and I’ve already been wondering what I’ve been doing with my life? The Star Powder is incredible!! Its such an effortless highlight. I’ve used highlights that need to be applied and applied and applied to get that glow that everyone admires, a highlight shouldn’t be so much effort. With the Star Powder I only need a little on my brush and the results are more than perfect! This highlight gives me so much confidence and when the light shines on it, OH MY! You’ve a choice of 7 different shades, I chose ‘Grace’ which I’d definitely recommend for both a day and night use, this will soon become your favourite highlight!
A good makeup brand takes the time and effort to make their packaging and branding spot on, Gerard Cosmetics does this! Each product feels and looks so luxury without the hefty price tag. I also love that the packaging shouts modern and sleek yet doesn’t exclude itself from any specific age group!
I’m so in love with this highlight that its taken number one spot above my ABH glow kit! Ooops! You can’t deny the magical workings of a great brand and Gerard Cosmetics are indeed that. You know when your friends start dating someone new and you ask the age old question of ‘Are they they one?’ Thats exactly what I ask myself when it comes to my makeup, the star powder is definitely ‘the one’ for me!
