Joan Collins – Timeless Beauty Compact Duo

If you didn’t know already Dame Joan Collins, English actress and author has created her very own line of beauty products – Timeless Beauty. The Joan Collins Timeless Beauty range delves into the world of cosmetics, skin care and fragrances with the use of high quality products. Not only is this a luxury brand its one that deserves to be looked upon in awe! With Joan’s love of art deco and Hollywood glamour she has created a brand that has a vintage look to it and yet still remains classy and beautiful! This is so my cup of tea, I’ve always felt like I was born in the wrong era, admiring all things vintage and glamourous. I was delighted, thrilled and excited to get my hands on one of her many gorgeous Timeless Beauty products.

I’m sure you’d agree that most compacts aren’t very well thought out, they usually end up looking awfully messy and often open whilst in our handbag creating a makeup disaster in our already unorganised Mary Poppins bags! I’ve never had a compact that holds two of my most essential beauty products in one simple piece, until I met the Timeless Beauty Compact Duo!! The compact Duo includes a meticulous pressed powder and a divine lips lipstick in which you can choose from 16 different shades!

As you can see the compact is beautiful in absolutely every possible way, I love that when the compact is closed there is a space for the lipstick to be on show in its beautiful embossed tube. The powder is really light and sits lovely on the skin, it even comes with its own soft applicator and mirror for those nice and easy quick touch up sessions! My lipstick is in shade Crystal, its the most perfect shade of red. The Divine Lips lipstick is very creamy to apply and hydrating which I love as there really is nothing worse than a lipstick that dries out the pout! This is a piece I’d keep in my handbag or work desk incase of an impromptu night out, every makeup lover needs one of these which is why its so perfect that Christmas is only a few weeks away!

The Timeless Beauty Compact Duo is only £34 which I thought was a bit of a bargain since I expected it to be a lot pricier! You can also get the Compact Duos with a bronzer instead of the pressed powder at the same price and to top that, the compact doesn’t open on its own in your bag, hooray!! I can’t wait to try more from the Joan Collins Timeless Beauty Range!
