Rose Perfecting Oil
The rose perfecting oil from Rosina’s lotions and potions is by far one of my most favourite products to use at the moment! It comes in a little blue 30ml bottle but don’t be disheartened because a little of this oil goes a very long way. The Rose perfecting oil is deeply moisturising and perfect for all skin types since its rich in nutrients, antioxidants and vitamins! As you can guess this is a little rose scented number which is so relaxing and the oil itself is so delicate on the skin. Infused into this little gem is Argon oil, sunflower seed oil and rosa damascena flower extract each of which have great benefits to skin such as – retaining moisture, reducing wrinkles and acting as anti inflammatories – the perfect combination for all your skin needs!!! I apply this after taking off my makeup just before bed, it leaves my skin feeling silky and smooth and by the morning my skin feels so nourished and really well moisturised. I also notice that when I’m using this my dark circles aren’t as prominent and my non made up face looks a lot brighter and less dull than usual! What I also love about Rosinas lotions and potions is that on all of their product boxes they have their ’story’ written on one side, its a warm welcome and really gives you feel of the company!!
Scandaleyes XX-treme Mascara
Rimmel are always bang on form with their mascaras! Any low end drug store mascaras that I end up falling in love with are always from Rimmel, I just love that they get it right so often! Whilst picking up my usual mascara I saw this bright hot pink tube jump out to me and being intrigued I picked it up and in my basket it went. Usually I don’t really dig combed mascara wands as I feel like they just don’t lift my lashes very well or give me the desired length I want but this one really shocked me!! The XX-treme Mascara has a dual action application wand, one side is flat and straight, this offers length and definition. The other side is curved and this offers volume for a really luscious full look. Both sides are combed and this is to ensure no clumps or those dreadful spider leg lashes! This works wonders for me, I’m able to work the lashes really well and add another coat before its completely dry to give my lashes a more defined look, with other mascaras I’ve found they don’t always react so well to more than one coating. This is definitley a mascara to try for yourself!
Double Wear Foundation
What a shock, not! I’m sure you’ve heard just about everyone going crazy over the Estee Lauder double wear foundation by now. I was sceptical at first as I am about most foundations but after hearing more and more great things about this one I just had to bite the bullet and try it for myself. I walked into my local boots and asked for some advice from the Estee Lauder counter staff since I wasn’t entirely sure what colour I needed. They wanted to ensure I’d leave the shop with the right shade for me so I had a colour match test done, this literally takes a couple of minutes and is done using a little hand held device that picks up the pigments in your skin. I was given a shade but on testing it turned out to be too dark (blame my bronzer!!), we tried the shade down from that and it was perfect! I get on so well with this foundation, its so smooth to apply and spreads evenly across the skin. On drying it doesn’t go completely matte either so it gives you a really youthful look and a lovely base to work with. Double Wear also doesn’t cling to any of my dry patches or accentuate any of my facial lines, it really is a badass foundation that remains looking beautiful even at the end of the day! I also find that applying concealer on top of this felt so much smoother and the two blend really well together. I get so excited about using my Double Wear foundation its a definite must have and it will convert any beauty addict!
