Blog Post Favourites – March

When I first started blogging just over a year ago I was really naive to the blogging world and had no clue just how many other bloggers there were!! It wasn’t until I joined Twitter in April 2016 that I was sucked into to blogging community and found out just how big the blogging world really is. I found like minded people who enjoy writing just as much as I do and create this thing thats their very own on the internet, its such an inspiring and lovely community to be a part of especially when bloggers support each other! Over the last year I have found some pretty incredible blogs and I really enjoy reading other peoples posts as much as I hope you all enjoy reading mine! So as an active supporter of all bloggers doing their thing and giving credit to those working their socks off I’ve put together a list of my favourite blog posts this month that really deserve the spotlight!

Dorkface – Night souls

Dorkface otherwise known as Jemma is a really inspiring blogger, she created the famous #thegirlgang group on twitter and does so much for the blogging community. She’s also an illustrator and has her very own Etsy shop where she sells off her incredible prints and other merch! Her blog is full of colour and sass and I really enjoy the content of every single post, I could literally sit reading her blog for hours over an evening! This month it was her post NIGHT SOULS that really lured me in! Its a really creative piece of writing with so much depth and heart that has gone into it, it made for a really enjoyable read that had me sat in reflection for a while afterwards! Needless to say this is a must read!!

Messy Edit – Dear teenage self

Emily and I connected on Twitter and I felt like it became a really cool friendship right off the bat. I really enjoy reading Emily’s blog and the rawness of her photography and flatlays!! One of her most recent posts fast became a big fave of mine and that was her LETTER TO TEENAGE SELF post. It’s a really raw and personal post (those are usually the ones I enjoy the most) and she wasn’t afraid to be really honest and be her true self. This has been one of my most favourite reads to date, not only could I relate to a lot of it but it also got me thinking of writing one for myself! You guys have to give this a read!

Faded Spring – A letter to my foster mum

Ana is the face behind Faded Spring, I’ve been reading her blog for a while now and I was even lucky enough to meet her at blogcon London this month too, she’s so lovely and such a character!! What I love about Ana’s blog is the uniqueness of every single post, she has a way of writing thats so creative that it captivates you straight away, her writing ability is beautiful, I thoroughly enjoy every post! This month I read her LETTER TO FOSTER MUM and what an emotional post it was, I was in tears by the end but it was such a brave post to have written and it gives you such an insight into Ana’s life. Its an amazingly gripping read and with so much emotion that went into it its so worth the attention!! If there is one post you should read this month its this!

The Scarlet State – Celebrating 21 years (in my body)

Sarah is an awesome blogger and amazing illustrator – I adore her artwork! I really enjoy Sarah’s blog, she has such a clear flowing writing style and her blog photos are always so natural and beautiful! My favourite post from her this month has to be CELEBRATING 21 YEARS, this was such a beautiful piece to read and  such a unique dedication to celebrate turning 21. I love the way Sarah thinks and that shines through in this piece of writing. It comes from such a pure, healthy perspective and it really makes you feel good about the body you’re in! You’ll regret not giving this one a read!

I really enjoy rooting about and finding other blogs, mostly through social networking links. I come across all kinds of everything, and that is what I love. You never know what you will find. From the funny, to the deeply emotional, to food and fashion, I think it is a great comminity to be involved in.
